Log data is stored only for as long as necessary to ensure the security and operation of the website and is subsequently deleted.

3. Embedded videos (Vimeo and YouTube)

a. Which data is processed, and for what purpose?

This website contains embedded videos provided by Vimeo and YouTube. These contents are loaded only after explicit consent has been given. Without consent, no connections to the servers of these services are established and no data is transmitted.

Once consent has been granted, the browser transmits the IP address and other technical data to the respective servers when loading a video. Vimeo and YouTube may collect information about user behaviour. Both services also process data in the United States.

Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). Consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

d. How long is the data stored?

The retention period is governed by the privacy policies of Vimeo and Google. The consent setting is stored locally in the browser and remains in effect until the browser data is deleted.

When contacting us by e-mail, the transmitted data (name, e-mail address, and message content) is processed for the purpose of handling the request.

b. On what legal basis is this data processed?

Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries) or Article 6(1)(b) GDPR in the case of pre-contractual enquiries.

Any consent granted may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future (Article 7(3) GDPR). The lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal remains unaffected.

II. Right to Object pursuant to Article 21(1) GDPR

Where personal data is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, data subjects have the right to object to such processing at any time on grounds relating to their particular situation.

In such a case, the personal data will no longer be processed unless compelling legitimate grounds for the processing can be demonstrated which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or unless the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.
